A serious accident has blocked the Pacific Highway in both directions 8km south of Nabiac, near Taree.
Emergency services are on site including a rescue helicopter which has landed on the highway blocking it in both directions.
Motorists heading south of Coffs Harbour are advised to delay travel.
There is no forecast available to when the highway will reopen.
