A 25-year-old man has been charged over alleged supply of the drug ice following a search warrant at Banora Point yesterday.

Police say that just before 12.30pm, officers attached to Tweed Heads Target Action Group executed a search warrant at a home on Darlington Drive.

It will be alleged police located drug paraphernalia, a crystal substance believed to be methylamphetamine, and a liquid substance believed to be methylamphetamine oil with an estimated street value of $75,000.

All items were seized for forensic examination.

The man was arrested at the scene and taken to Tweed Heads police station, where he was charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug, one count of supplying a commercial quantity of prohibited drug, and possessing a precursor.

He was refused bail to appear at Byron Bay Local Court today (Thursday).
