UPDATE:

Alternating stop/slow traffic conditions are now in place on the Pacific Highway 3km north of Woodburn due to a truck accident.

The highway was closed in both directions but is now open under alternating conditions.

All diversions have been lifted.

Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time and exercise caution as a clean-up operation is continuing at the site.

Initial report

The Pacific Highway north of Woodburn has been closed in both directions due to a truck rollover about three kilometres north of the town earlier this morning.

Northbound traffic is being diverted at Grafton to the Summerland Way to Casino and the Bruxner Highway via Lismore to Ballina.

Southbound traffic is being diverted at Ballina on the Bruxner Highway via Lismore to Casino and the Bruxner Highway to Grafton.

Motorists are advised to allow plenty of additional travel time as diversions will add up to 80 minutes of additional travel time.

The diversion is suitable for all vehicles.

Emergency services and traffic crews are on scene working to clear the accident as quickly as possible.
