Students at Wyrallah Road Public School had a flying visit from the crew of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service on Friday.
The helicopter landed on the school oval as a reward for the school having completed the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Schools Program, designed to teach Australian primary school students the importance of not-for-profit emergency services and the work they do in their local community.
Wyrallah Road Public School was selected to host a landing from more than 3,000 schools across the nation who have recently registered to participate in the program.
