Save Wallum finalist in NSW 2024 environment awards

The Save Wallum campaign has been named as a finalist in the Nature Conservation Council of NSW Environment Awards 2024. The award ceremony will be held in Sydney tonight, and Save Wallum spokesperson and ecologist James Barrie will be attending with Tegan Kitt, another founding member of the group.

A male doctor and osteopath has been arrested at his Bondi Junction clinic after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted during sessions there.

A 23-year-old woman told police attended a clinic on two occasions, during February and March 2016, where she was allegedly sexually assaulted during her massage appointments.

Around 12.25pm yesterday (Wednesday June 22), officers arrested a 38-year-old man at a clinic in Bondi Junction.

The man was taken to Waverley Police Station where he was charged with one count of sexual assault and two counts of indecent assault. He was bail refused and will appear at Waverley Local Court today (June 23).

Police always encourage any victim of sexual assault to come forward. Reports can be made at any police station.
