Police are investigating the circumstance surrounding a crash at Banora Point at about 11:40am on Saturday (October 1), when emergency services were called to Durigan Place following reports a car crashed into a house.
The driver, a 75-year-old woman, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and taken to Tweed Hospital for precautionary checks.
Police from Tweed/Byron Local Area Command commenced an investigation into the circumstance surrounding the crash.
The house will be assessed by engineers to determine its structural integrity.
