A motorcyclist has died after his bike had a collision with a utility near Murwillumbah yesterday morning.
The accident occurred on Numinbah Road, near Crouchy Creek Road, soon after 10.15am.
Echonetdaily understands motorbike rider ran into a Toyota Hilux utility as it was turning onto the road.
The the 22-year-old male rider died at the scene.
The 87-year-old male utility driver was uninjured but taken to Murwillumbah Hospital for mandatory alcohol and drug testing.
The crash investigation unit is preparing a report for the coroner.
