A person was trapped inside a vehicle in Murwillumbah for ‘some time’ this morning before being released by emergency service workers.
A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance told Echonetdaily paramedics were called out at about 7.45am to the incident involving two vehicles at the corner of Reynolds Road and Tumbulgum Road.
Two patients were assessed – a male and a female – with one transported to Tweed Hospital and the other to Murwillumbah District Hospital, both by road ambulance.
One of the patients was trapped for ‘some time’, the spokesperson said but could provide no information as to the extent of injuries.
