So Tweed councillor Reece Byrnes makes good on his promise to promote petty populism and political ambition at the expense of a long-term solution to the Pottsville Mens Shed fiasco.
It’s about time the NSW government banned both developers and political staffers from standing for local government, with both Auburn (Sydney) and now Tweed, being prime examples of the need.
