Two men will appear in a Lismore court today after being charged following two break and enters in the northern rivers region early yesterday morning.

Emergency services attended a store in Clifford Street, Suffolk Park, about 3.15am following reports of a break-in.

Police were told two men had broken int0 the store and taken a number of items.

About 4.35am, the two men allegedly broke into a house on Lindendale Road, Wollongbar and stole a number of items before being disrupted by a resident and fleeing.

Police attended a property at Coraki and arrested two 43-year-old men around 6.30am.

They were taken to Lismore Police Station and both were charged with offences relating to aggravated break and enters.

The men were refused bail and will appear before Lismore Local Court today.
