Bay FM community radio celebrates digital upgrade

Volunteers from Byron and across the Northern Rivers celebrated nearly $100,000 worth of new studio equipment at Bay FM Community Radio station on the weekend.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner following the death of a 50-year-old man in public toilets at Nimbin on Saturday.

Richmond Local Area command Inspector Doug Connors confirmed that police and ambulance responded to reports of a collapsed man about 6pm on Saturday.

Inspector Connors said the man was unable to be revived and died at the scene.

He said a report would be prepared for the coroner, and that the death was not being treated as suspicious.
