After Death DAAS

They might have experienced near death with the Lismore floods causing the cancelling of their shows last time, but they’re back, re-incarnated and funnier than ever.

Who doesn’t remember and love the anarchic ravings of The Doug Anthony All Stars from the Big Gig days? It’s a few decades and things have changed. Well Richard Fiedler got a bloody good job for a grownup at the ABC, and had to be replaced by Flacco aka Paul Livingston. The comedic trio present a musical comedy as wicked and dangerous as ever with an irreverent mixture of filthy faux pas, spirited singing and social commentary. Friday & Saturday, 7.30pm at Lismore City Hall. Tickets $41–47 + booking fee from lismorecityhall.com.au or 1300 066 772.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
