We had an amazing night. Loads of fun in typical laid back Lennox style,’ said Chamber president, Debbie Smith.

‘What is truly special is, as usual, the awards night comes together with the invaluable help of Lennox Chamber and local businesses volunteering their time and skills to make it happen.’

Beef+Beach balcony restaurant took out the Best Visitor Experience for Hospitality for the second year in a row.

Beef+Beach Manager Maurice Lawless says, ‘Winning this award has given us a real boost and we are excited that the experience we provide at Beef+Beach is proving exceptional to our visitors. For us – it was not only an honour but a culmination of a lot of hard work and

dedication put in by the whole team.’

‘We can’t believe it! Last year was a massive honour, to win Business of the Year in the

town that we have made home, amongst so many wonderfully talented people,’ Claire said.

‘To win this award for the second consecutive year is a huge achievement for our team and our business, especially being up against so many other contenders, many of which we know.’

Special trophies were created by local artist Joe Stark who created the unique sculptures while Sebastiaan Scholtens keeps everyone entertained

‘Club Lennox did an amazing job with a beautiful decor and so much top notch food,’ continued Debbie. ‘John Peacock from Chem Dry Far North Coast was our stand up comedian MC, he had the room in fits all night.’

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
