
Three people have been arrested after police executed multiple search warrants in northern NSW.
Strike Force Glynn was formed by officers from Richmond local area command to investigate the alleged ongoing supply of prohibited drugs.
Following inquiries, six search warrants were executed this morning (Thursday 24 August) at homes in Goonellabah, Lismore and Casino.
At a home in Goonellabah, police located four separate hydroponic set-ups containing a large number of enhanced cannabis plants.
A cannabis plant, along with cannabis leaf, was also seized from a Lismore home.
Three men – aged 54, 31 and 24 – have been arrested and are currently at Lismore Police Station assisting police.
A 61-year-old man is expected to be issued a future court attendance notice for cultivate a prohibited plant and possess prohibited drug.
The search warrants are continuing.
