Ever wondered what there is to do and see in Mullumbimby?

The Mullumbimby y Chamber of Commerce has just helped locals and tourists alike to find out all they need to know from ;’Were’s the nearest toilet’ to where can I take the kids for a play’  by putting up a fun map on the wall of Mullumbimby Newsagents on Stuart Street.

Building on a fun map supplied by The Echo local mural artist Samantha Wortelhock created the fun and informative map for everyone to enjoy.

‘We get lots of people in here at the Newsagents and at Stewarts Menswear in Mullumbimby asking lots of questions like “are there any walks I can do?”,’said Chamber president, Jenelle Stanford.

The Mullumbimby Chamber took their time consulting with both local businesses and the community to ‘put together all the most common questions we get and created the fun map around those,’ finished Jenelle.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
