Updated: A man has been arrested following his discharge from Lismore Base Hospital yesterday afternoon (Monday, December 4).
He allegedly threatened two people with a firearm outside a property at Goonellabah on Friday and was hospitalised after the stand-off with police that ensued.
About 1.20pm on Friday 1 December 2017, police will allege the man was threatening a 43-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man with a firearm outside a property on Heather Avenue.
The 46-year-old man was arrested and later taken to Lismore Police Station where he was charged with stalking/intimidation, assault, being armed with intent, discharging a firearm and possessing an unregistered prohibited firearm.
He was refused bail and is due to appear before Lismore Local Court today (Tuesday December 5).
