A 60-year-old Federal man who was airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital after being discovered pinned under a tractor is reportedly in a stable condition.

The man received hip injuries after rolling his tractor, and was trapped for some time before a neighbour heard his cries for help around midday.

NSW paramedics stabilised the man before he was taken onboard the helicopter for the trip to the Gold Coast about 2pm.
