Renew Fest will celebrate its third anniversary this May, and earlybird tickets are available from January 8 until February 14.
The grassroots festival, to be held May 19 and 20 at the Mullum Showgrounds, is a celebration of collaborative action and the power of community for innovative sustainability projects.
This year’s theme will be ‘Deep listening’.
Festival director Ella Rose Goninan says, ‘With “deep listening” as our overarching theme this year, we are bringing care to all facets of the program to support a collective listening experience.’
‘As the guiding motive of Renew Fest is to give rise and celebration to collaborative actions of regenerative change, this year’s festival will be exploring the importance and place of deeply listening to life as we seek to bring renewal to the story of our environmental humanity.’
Last year’s festival patron and internationally acclaimed heart-to-heart parenting advocate Robin Grille is thrilled to be returning once again for Renew Fest 2018.
Warm and uplifting
Mr Grille says, ‘I found Renew Fest 2017 to be a heart-warming and uplifting experience; in which we could see a truly new world clearly starting to take shape, with love, with excitement and with grounded possibility. The festival is a place to be recharged, to discover how powerful we are when we join together in vision for a transformed world.
‘I love Renew Fest for its “can do” energy, and for the sheer abundance and variety of “how tos”.
‘I am thrilled to be invited back to participate in this dynamic, nourishing and colourful festival in 2018.
‘And, most interestingly, the theme and emphasis of this year’s Renew Fest will have a surprising brand new twist…’
