Dynamic, wheelchair-bound singing legend Jeff St John passed away on Monday at the age of 71 after.
Probably best known for his hit songs Big time Operator with the ID and Teach me how to fly with Copper Wine, Jeff left an indelible, unique mark on the Oz popular music scene.
Before he passed away, he wrote and had published a book of his amazing life story entitled The Inside Outer. A deluxe version of this book is now available at the Mullumbimby Library. It is a must read for people interested in Jeff an in reading inspiring stories.
My Mother told me that when I left the Colaroy hospital in , I think 1947 with polio / Deptheria after being in the Iron Lung for 5 months a young little boy called Geoff St John also left Hospital in a Wheel Chair at the same time.
