Police youth assault case back to court

A home has been destroyed and a man treated for smoke inhalation after a fire near Lismore.

About 5.50pm (Monday 30 April 2018), emergency services attended a home on Bangalow Road at Bex Hill near Clunes, about 18km northeast of Lismore, and found the home well alight.

Fire fighters attended and extinguished the blaze, but the home was destroyed.

A man was treated for smoke inhalation but did not require hospitalisation.

Officers from Richmond Police District are investigating; initial inquiries suggest there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire.
