The weather was kind to organisers and entrants alike of the 32nd annual Winter Whales’ Byron Bay Ocean Swim, which took place on Saturday from Wategos to Main Beach.
Riley Clout won the mens’ section in a time of 27:09; and Chloe Butt was first in the women’s section with a time of 32:14.
As always, though, it’s about entering, not winning, with hundreds taking the plunge.
