Local female surfers had some excellent results at the Mid North Coast Girls Surf Classic held at Rainbow Beach held earlier this month. 

Lennox Head’s Mel Mott won the over 55s Longboard division with Lennox Head All Girls Surfriders members Carol Stevens and Liz Petterson finishing in third and fourth.

The all-female competition and is in its 15th year.
