Police were called to a Byron Bay pub on Friday (October 5) after a man allegedly threatened patrons with a knife.
They found a 28-year-old Byron Bay man nearby in Jonson Street, vomiting on a wall.
Police searched the man, allegedly finding a pocket knife and cannabis on him.
He was charged with custody of a knife and possess prohibited drug.
The man was bailed to appear before Byron Bay Local Court on October 25.
Alleged OS cigarette thief nabbed
On Thursday, October 4, police raided a house in Ocean Shores, seizing a quantity of cigarettes they valued at $3,912.
The smokes were allegedly stolen from a bottle shop in the town during a break and enter on August 11.
Police also allegedly found cannabis during the search.
A 21-year-old Ocean Shores man was arrested and taken to Byron Bay Police Station, where he was charged with break enter and steal and possessing a prohibited drug.
He was refused bail to appear before Mullumbimby Local Court October 22.
