As women are not committing crimes on Tyagarah Beach, why not keep its clothes-optional status and just ban men.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

  1. Some positive discrimination that allows women to sunbake nude without the stress and anxiety generated by “some” perverse men who tend to loiter around Tyagarah nude beach is hardly sexist. It’s providing protection and freedom to a persecuted majority who continually have to put up with the bad behaviour of “some” men. Don’t whine I’m one of the good guys – it’s an issue for men to address, the problems caused by male sexuality can’t be fixed by mum or any other women – Perhaps create a safe space deep within the hinterland where sex addled dudes can ogle their naked self instead of preying on women who don’t want their attention.

  2. Let’s return to the nineteenth century and set aside beach areas only for men & separate beach areas only for women. And woe-betide any male who strays into the female zone.
