The Relocate Team has been accused of spreading misinformation and scaremongering when trying inform the community that the Tweed Heads Hospital will close when the new Tweed Valley Hospital opens, and that this new hospital will be seven storeys. 

Now the truth has finally been told. Mr Sangster, head of the NSW Health Department, confirmed the closure of Tweed Heads Hospital on ABC radio last week.

Many residents who still are unaware of the facts will finally learn the truth. This is the biggest public development ever in the Tweed Shire.
