Lennox is a happening place at the moment; it has a growing population and many of those locals are beach-loving, friendly, cruisy sort of folk. The new beer garden at Club Lennox is riding the wave, and is hosting Sunday on the Greens every Sunday. This involves one food truck with one brewery, distillery, or winery and a musician, with food and drink from 3pm and music from 4pm.

The whole beer garden area is the perfect spot to relax, have a few drinks, and enjoy some great food. With chill vibes it’ll be perfect for a cruisy Sunday afternoon session.

Club Lennox is keeping it local by sourcing as many musicians, breweries, and food trucks from the area as possible – showcasing local talent and food is one of the things that makes this event so great, and by trying the food and drink you’re also supporting local businesses.

Club Lennox is a family-friendly club with a kids’ zone inside, and the Sunday on the Greens event is also kid friendly with free kids’ facepainting over 5–7pm. The event is perfect for the whole family to attend, but make sure to leave the dog at home!

The live music will change weekly with a wide range of bands and genres included. There will be a special JJJ hottest 100 weekend on 27 January with no live music, but the countdown playing all afternoon outside.

This Sunday event will continue for the foreseeable future with plenty of variety in both food truck and drinks. See the schedule below for who is coming when.

23 Dec – Food Truck: Jom Makan, Brewery: Seven Mile, Music: Kellie Trombone and Scrubby Pete

30 Dec – Food Truck: Peppe’s Pizzas, Brewery: Balter, Music: Isaac Frankham

6 Jan – Food Truck: Greek Recipe, Winery: Taylors, Music: Sebastiaan Scholten

13 Jan – Food Truck: Taco Love Bros, Brewery: Stone and Wood, Music: Carly and Roo

20 Jan – Food Truck: The Popular Food Cart, Brewery: Black Hops, Music: Leigh James

27 Jan – Food Truck: Lennox Smokin Barrel, Brewery: Square Keg, Distillery: Brookies Gin, Music: JJJ Hottest 100

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
