A  big thank you to Craig at the Brunswick Heads Surf Club who assisted me with a lost special-needs boy on Christmas Day. It was 5pm, which is the time the surf life savers finish up. Craig took me in a buggy and we found the boy swimming by himself but otherwise unharmed. The boy was chuffed to get a ride back on the buggy as he had an injured knee. Great effort, Craig.

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online.
