C Boyle, Durrumbul
This morning there’s been yet another collision on the notorious Durrumbul bend in Main Arm Road, just outside Durrumbul Hall. This stretch of road is now averaging at least one serious accident per month – always in the same place.
It’s Council’s responsibility to keep our roads safe, if not always adequately maintained.
This is a basic shire council design fault from the 1970s – wrong camber, wrong angle. Check the records of accidents, Mayor – surely this stretch of road qualifies for Black Spot funding. C’mon, Council, you’ve got to fix this before someone else is injured or dies.
