Councillors Spooner and Hackett, who profess to be looking after the safety of women and children on Byron’s only clothing-optional beach, are also the ones who voted not to implement safety measures at the recent Council meeting. Why?

Congratulations to the majority of councillors who, amongst reported intimidation by some opposing the clothing-optional beach, were able to make a well-informed, sensible, and grounded decision.

The Byron Shire is known worldwide for being a tolerant, open, and alternative place to live and holiday; let’s keep it this way.
