The NSW state government paid for the path all the way around Water Lily Park in Ocean Shores. But Council, who owns the 10m missing link didn’t complete it for fear that children might ride straight onto the road. A barrier would’ve been a solution.
They are also constructing, without community consultation, a bikeway through a reserve onto the main roundabout at Ocean Shores and Orana Road, which is completely at odds with the community-approved design that has been in existence for over 35 years.
