God bless USA? I wasn’t going to buy into any Trump shit but the latest doesn’t surprise me. Trump and the Iranian foreign minister have exchanged pleasantries and pointed fingers at each other (boys).

The aggressive US policy to try to dictate the terms over other countries doesn’t surprise; the grey men in grey suits have been doing that since the Mayflower birthed on that land. Sound familiar?

The heavy hand of Trump wants to slap Iran but hopefully will not create another war in the Middle East.

Obviously the US hasn’t learned any lessons of the past and sending young men and women off to kill or be killed disgusts me.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
