Eating vegan is no longer like Mac Vs PC

Remember back in the bad old days when you used either a PC or Mac? Those were your choices, and never the twain could meet. They were so many miles apart in operations that they were like different countries with different languages and appearances

Give me your sceptics, your doubters,

Your hungering masses yearning to be carbon-free,

The wretched refusers and your climate refuters.

Send these, the conflicted, temper-lost to me,

I lift The Echo beside that which matters!

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

  1. The inscription on the cap has the correct sentiment but the wording should have been “Make The World Greta Again” which incidentally is the title of an excellent documentary which is available for viewing via SBS On Demand or via Youtube.

  2. As you walk around Byron, note how many “Echo” papers are lying in a driveway, in a gutter, in a street, etc., etc., etc.. Now think about how many resources were devoted to this trash. For what purpose? Why, for profit, of course.

    • There is a sad sock that’s called a copy of the Echo that isn’t picked up after their delivery drivers throw it on the ground, on every street, that ends up as litter washing into drains etc. They are also a great flag for a thief looking to find an unoccupied home.

I like the Echo but surely there has to be a better distribution method?
