Global warming is no secret. The question is what will you do to cool the Earth down?

Coal has absorbed the frictional heat that the Earth creates in its rotation as well as a portion of heat absorbed from the sun for Billions of years. Yes, that’s Billions of years with a B. Over the last couple of hundred years humans have mined this heat absorbing source that the Earth uses to cool down and burned it for electricity (really smart cookies). Now the Earth is trying to keep cool by melting the ice. When all the ice melts, basically it won’t be too long before an extinction event will take place.

Calling all SCIENTISTS

Calling all GOVERNMENTS

Calling all SPARE CASH

We need to create a material that will operate like coal and absorb the heat of the Earth. Maybe if we can develop a crystal that can grow, we can grow it with the water from the melting ice, using desalinated water. This material we create must absorb heat, yet not overheat so as to become a future toxic problem. Then we must place this material where the coal was; yes exactly where the coal was as there were the points that the Earth created to absorb the heat.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

  1. Seriously? However well intentioned, loopy interpretations & bizzarro world theories like this undermine genuine concerns, real science & just give denialists ammunition. Educate yourself about some basic science. Coal is fossilised plant life, nothing to do with “frictional heat generated by the earth’s rotation??” Extinctions have already commenced even in Australia (see Bramble Cays Melomys). Species have already become endangered. Extinctions will occur gradually under the combination of heat stress, starvation, thirst, fire, severe storms, & the warmer & more acidic oceans. Crystals never solved anything and never will apart from filling that empty space on the shelf and gift ideas for hippies.

Call all scientists if you want, but start with listening to what they’ve been saying for decades. They will all tell you we need to stop dithering & cut emissions

    • M.clarke ..was it possible to have Global Warming
Pre – industrialization?? Still waiting for the next ice age predicted by the reputable national geographic
In 1970 … what the scientists have been saying for
Decades yep still waithing for these predictions
To come true ..believe in father Christmas before i believe in this nonsense.. eco anxiety!

  2. M. is correct. Just cut emissions. That’s for the ‘louts that
try to rule us.’ How many times do they have to be told.

Youth crime is increasing – what to do?

There is something strange going on with youth crime in rural and regional Australia. Normally, I treat hysterical rising delinquency claims with a pinch of salt – explicable by an increase in police numbers, or a headline-chasing tabloid, or a right-wing politician.
