After gauging the country’s most popular craft beers of 2019 in an online poll, the GABS Hottest 100 announces the top 100 best-voted beers in a countdown broadcast on Saturday 25 January, with official countdown festivities kicking off at pubs and venues around the country at 12.00pm, including at our very own Stone & Wood brewery in Byron Bay.
Independent since opening in 2008, Stone & Wood are members of the IBA (an association of brewers who are owned and operated independently, and who value authenticity, localism and the communities built around them). Some 600 independent breweries operate today across Australia, contributing to local economies, industry and employment.
Why not vote online for your favourite independent beer and show that you value independence in the industry? Apart from simply buying and drinking beer, the second-easiest way to, for example, get behind their Original Pacific Ale, is by voting for the beer online at www.gabshub.com/gabs-hottest-100-craft-beers. Stone & Wood’s Pacific Ale reached number two in 2018’s GABS Hottest 100.
