The grass fire that was listed as burning out of control in the Stokers Siding area has now been removed from the Fires Near Me website.
Local Rural Fire Services (RFS) have investigated the report and stated that there was nothing to be found. They believe that the report was based on smoke haze coming in from the west.

A grass fire has been reported by the RFS to be burning out of control in the Stokers Siding area.
The fire, which was posted on the Fires Near Me website just before 2pm today, is so far less than one hectare in size but appears to be out of control.
Residents are advised to wait for further notice before any action proceeds.
