I’m really pleased to see that Mandy Nolan has gone back to writing humorous articles for The Echo. I think humour is where her true talents lie.
In her latest article, she mentions that she drove all the way down to Melbourne just to bring her son back to Byron. This is a distance of 1,700km each way. In case you’re wondering, if her car uses six litres of petrol per 100km, that’s about 200 litres of fuel, or about 462kg of CO2, nearly half a tonne, that she has contributed to the greenhouse effect.
