Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

  1. Well spotted Bob!
Hard to argue anything to the contrary once you start listing all their anti-environmental, anti-community stuff-ups!
They have made Rose and her cronies in our last council look good.

  2. I also can’t wait for the bypass to open, few trees big deal. Forest clearing in Queensland now that is something to worry about.

  3. Darren, why only Queensland? What about NSW & Tassie? They are all a big deal, all out of control, all habitat to our diminishing and not properly protected threatened species, buffers against our changing climate and the bypass route is another incremental loss on top of that.
I can’t wait to hear your views when the bypass is predictably clogged with stationary traffic, what then? a bypass of the bypass through the heart of Cumbebin?
