Police have just reported that a body has been located during a search for a man missing in the Northern Rivers.
The 37-year-old was last seen in Kyogle about 11am on Thursday 13 August 2020.
His family notified officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District when he couldn’t be located or contacted.
Following inquiries, the man’s vehicle was located by police on Wednesday (2 September ) near Whiteman Creek Road on the mid-north coast.
Earlier today (Saturday 12 September), police were notified that family members searching for the man located a body in the Whiteman Creek area.
While the body has not been identified, it’s believed to be the missing man.
Initial inquiries suggest the death is not suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.

How sad that the police were incapable of finding this man , and the family was forced do it themselves.
