Warming winter for Tweed Shire’s homeless

It's no secret that the Far North Coast has some of the highest homelessness figures in the country and Dharma Care is determined to reduce those figures as the days get colder.

Police say a man missing from Ballina has been located safe and well.

A 56-year-old man was reported missing by family members after he was last seen leaving his Ballina home last Thursday night.

Following extensive inquiries, the man was located about 1pm yesterday (Monday, November 2) in Ballina.

Police would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
