I am appalled at the use of four-letter words in two large headlines in this week’s edition. Yes, you warn about it on the front page, to draw attention I suppose. 

Yes, it is the 21st century, but this is still unacceptable journalism to most in our community. 

Of all the thousands of words in the dictionary why resort to this gutter language? 

We teach our children from childhood through Primary School and High School that this is not acceptable language. 

What mixed messages of acceptable standards are they receiving when they read this?
