It’s amazing how a country that uses the phrase ‘In God We Trust’, yet arms itself to the teeth and bombs its way around the world, thrusting their so-called ‘democracy’ on sovereign nations, holds the world to ransom with their weapons of mass destruction. Yet at the same time they can’t defend the White House from its angry citizens, who’ve been shafted for so long, and deluded into thinking that a despotic, self-serving creep can somehow deliver them from their desperate plight.

Trump is not solely to blame for this situation, the rest of the world stood by and watched this scenario evolve. At the same time a courageous man is locked up in gruelling conditions in Belmarsh Prision, London, for exposing the truth. Meanwhile a military budget of US$740 billion has been approved by both parties in the Senate, and a deadly pandemic rages through the nation.

We’ll find out who believes in democracy when the UN International Ban on Nuclear Weapons comes into effect 22 January, 2021.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

  1. Great points taken, Mick. Let’s hope the dumbness gets tackled & understood. The ‘Rump’
may not be fully to blame but he’s at least 97% plus of it. Look how he conned the deal
with the Mid East… ‘peace’? No way..
