Tweed Byron police have arrested a 35-year-old Kingscliff man over rape allegations.

Tweed Byron police have arrested a 35-year-old Kingscliff man over rape allegations.

Officers say an 18-year-old woman reported a sexual assault matter on the 9th of April and investigations led to the arrest on the first of May.

The accused man is reportedly known to the woman and faces two charges of Sexual Intercourse without Consent.
