Update:
Police have located the owner of a seemingly abandoned vessel which had been located in Tallebudgera Creek yesterday afternoon.
The owner of the vessel has recently contacted Policelink to claim the vessel and is safe and well.
The vessel had been the subject of a police appeal last night.

Police are seeking urgent public assistance to help identify and locate the owner of a seemingly abandoned vessel (pictured) located in Tallebudgera Creek this afternoon.
The un-crewed sailing ship was reported to police around 6.40pm, with witnesses saying they had seen at least one person on deck earlier in the day.
The boat is described as yellow and white with an outrigger and a red, yellow, and blue sail.
Anyone with information on the vessel or its occupants is urged to contact police immediately.
