The other day I met a Mullumbimby doctor. As I used to live in Mullum and Mullum was in the headlines in recent times, I felt super brave to ask him if Mullum doctors are now vaccinated.
He seemed to be almost offended: ‘Me vaccinated, no way! I don’t know what’s wrong with my colleagues but I think most are vaccinated now. How about you, you are not vaccinated, are you?’
When I told him that I was fully vaccinated and that my father used to be a doctor, he scornfully replied: ‘Well, in that case, you should have known better!’
