Outgoing Ballina independent speaks out against Dunoon Dam campaign

Outgoing independent Cr Sharon Parry has seldom contacted The Echo during her time on the council but says she felt honour bound this week.

The other day I met a Mullumbimby doctor. As I used to live in Mullum and Mullum was in the headlines in recent times, I felt super brave to ask him if Mullum doctors are now vaccinated.

He seemed to be almost offended: ‘Me vaccinated, no way! I don’t know what’s wrong with my colleagues but I think most are vaccinated now. How about you, you are not vaccinated, are you?’

When I told him that I was fully vaccinated and that my father used to be a doctor, he scornfully replied: ‘Well, in that case, you should have known better!’

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

  1. Dear Burkhard,
To head your letter as Dr Covid says more about you than that good unhypnotised doctor. And rest assured that the vaccination rates in many countries show that doctors are not unsurprisingly at the forefront of this gene therapy masquerading as a “vaccine” hesitancy given the controlled explosion of vaccine implicated deaths which are now being reported by vaccinated and unvaccinated doctors world-wide. I hope for your sake that you do better than four of my immediate family members who died post vaccination without having any symptoms of being infected with the virus before they died.

  2. Couple of things Theo:

The Echo usually chooses the header given to the letters, not the original writer.

I am sure we all send our sympathies if you have lost four members of your family in a short time. You need to be very sure though, and have verifiable evidence that these deaths were because of vaccination. Otherwise implying an indisputable causal link is very risky given the evidence we are seeing in our own country (now Delta is here) of the many lives that would appear to be being saved by vaccination.
