Northern NSW Local Health District says there has been one new case of COVID-19 reported for the are to 8pm 17 October.

This case is in the Lismore Local Government Area, is linked to an existing cluster and has been isolating throughout their infectious period.

There have now been 99 total cases reported in NNSWLHD since the Delta outbreak began in Sydney on 16 June.

Venus of Concern

There are more venues of concern associated with confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the region.

All close contacts are contacted directly and informed as part of normal contact tracing
processes. They must get tested and isolate according to the advice they are given by NSW
Health.

Anyone else who has been at these venues below at the date and time listed is considered
a casual contact and must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is
received.

Casual contacts should also get a test on day six after exposure, but do not have
to isolate while waiting for this result, if they are well.

The venues are:

Ballina Blooms the Chemist Shop 68, Ballina Fair Shopping Centre, 84 Kerr Street
Sunday 10 October, 11am to 11.15am.

Ballina Aldi 2 North Creek Road Monday
11 October 3.45pm to 4pm.

South Grafton Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology, Shop 9, 94 Bent Street
Wednesday 13 October 2.30pm to 3.15pm.
