A Northern NSW Local Health District spokesperson says that nine new cases of COVID-19 were reported to 8pm yesterday (6 November).
Northern NSW Local Health District Chief Executive, Wayne Jones, said that five of the cases are in the Lismore Local Government Area (LGA), three of which are household contacts and two are linked to a known case.
‘Three other new cases are in the Clarence Valley LGA. Two are linked to known cases and one is a household contact of an existing case.
‘One new case is in the Kyogle LGA and is linked to a known case.
‘We remind the community to regularly check the NSW Health website for venues of concern.’
There have now been 146 total cases in NNSWLHD since 16 June.
‘Even if you are fully vaccinated you should get tested and isolate immediately if you have even the mildest of COVID-19 symptoms,’ says Mr Jones. ‘Such as: a slightly runny nose, a scratchy or sore throat or generally feeling under the weather.
There are more than 500 COVID-19 testing locations across NSW.
