Vyvvyan Stott, Mullumbimby

The 29 December 2021 headline reads ‘Community rallies for its church’. The church is the few who have worshipped there. The building is just timber.

If the neighbourhood had not boycotted the building and its God, the land would not need to be sold. Happy to live each day, we have little gratitude, to pass an hour of thanking and praising the creator of life.

Had we so done, there would be no need to pay millions to abuse/rape victims of wicked clergy. The western world is ripe for judgement.

The creator uses powerful evildoers, like international bankers, big pharma and mass media owners to punish the Protestant-heritage nations, who ought to know better.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

  1. Imagine the people who believe such things and who are not ashamed to ignore, totally, all the patient findings of thinking minds through all the centuries since the Bible was written. And it is these ignorant people, the most uneducated, the most unimaginative, the most unthinking among us, who would make themselves the guides and leaders of us all; who would force their feeble and childish beliefs on us; who would invade our schools and libraries and homes. I personally resent it bitterly.

  2. Time to put things into perspective here. If people refused to be sucked into these money making ‘churches’ and our government refused to spend billions of dollars of taxpayers’ money to fund their ‘schools,’ so many children and aduklts may not have been abused and theie would be no need to pay compensation to so many seriously damaged people. Not to mention the many who did not surivive-they won’t recieve anything.

Far from being the ‘creator of life’. Creator of pain and death is more apt.
