NSW Police says a man died after a crash at Wollongbar last night.
About 11.30pm (Sunday, 17 July), emergency services were called to Lismore Road, following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
Officers attached to Richmond Police District and NSW Ambulance paramedics responded, locating a 49-year-old man who had died at the scene.
The driver of the car – an 18-year-old man – was uninjured and will undergo mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established and will be examined by specialist officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit.
