According to the Australian Strategic Policy Institute report federal parliamentarians received 139 sponsored trips of which 25 went to Israel, 17 to Taiwan and 15 to the USA between 2018 and 2022.

The largest sponsor of all non-Australian- government-funded trips was the Australia/Israel and Jewish Affairs Council. It’s interesting to note that coalition parliamentarians were almost twice as likely as those from the ALP to take a sponsored trip to Israel (Coalition–15; ALP–eight; Crossbench–two); there was reluctance by all parties to visit Palestine. Just six parliamentarians visited both Israel and Palestine. Former foreign minister Bob Carr says, ‘The Israel lobby is the largest foreign influence operation run in Australia. The trips and the other activities have only one objective and that’s to see that no matter what Israel does… it will never be criticised by Canberra.’

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

10 years ago, the IBM development branch in Israel wrote the software that handles all private medical information of Queenslanders. Information is power. If I know enough private information about you, not only can I predict your actions, I can influence them. Thus I can control you.

    • It’s not all Italians, we don’t want to be accused of being anti-spagettic. But that doesn’t mean the existence of the mafia is a conspiracy theory. Especially when there are good Italians telling it exists. It exists goyim.

  2. If youd remember that great period of time in Australia, with Kevin Rudd Peter garrett at the hèlm, when the isreali mossad used our passports to commit murder in Dubai – Kev booted the isreali diplomats from Australia and two weeks later was Replaced by Julia.
