Marine Rescue NSW is advising boaters to take care with hazardous conditions expected until Saturday night.
Marine Rescue NSW Deputy Commissioner of Operations and Capability, Alex Barrell is urging boaters to check the conditions before heading out on the water with hazardous surf expected along the Macquarie, Coffs and Byron Coasts until Saturday night.
‘Take care over coming days as we see the large and hazardous surf conditions hit many parts of the coastline,’ said Barrell said.
Mr Barrell is also reminding boaters to ensure they have the correct safety equipment onboard their vessel for their trip.
‘As always, it’s important that boaters log on and log off with their local Marine Rescue base on VHF Channel 16.’
